A lab-grown diamond is created in a controlled environment. It has the same crystal structure and essential chemical, optical, and physical properties as a mined diamond. It is a diamond, not a simulant.

Shape, size and proportions
Carat describes weight, not visible width. Compare actual dimensions and consider the stone together with its setting. Round, elongated and square shapes can look different at the same weight.
Caring for your jewellery
Store pieces separately to help prevent scratches. Protect them from impacts and harsh cleaning products. For most gold and diamond jewellery, use lukewarm water, mild soap and a very soft brush. Ask about suitable care when a piece includes other materials.
If a stone feels loose or a prong starts catching, stop wearing the piece and have it inspected.
